Where Quiet Kids
Find Their Voice
A debate and public speaking academy for ages 5–14. Parliamentary Debate, Storytelling, Impromptu Speaking — taught by coaches who remember being the quiet kid too.
Three Paths to the Podium
Every program builds toward the same moment — a child who walks into a room and knows they belong at the front of it.
Parliamentary Debate
Kids learn to build arguments, anticipate objections, and stay calm under pressure. They'll debate real topics — from school lunch menus to whether robots should pay taxes.
"My daughter used to hide behind me at birthday parties. Six weeks in, she raised her hand in class for the first time ever. Her teacher emailed us that afternoon."
Storytelling & Narrative
The youngest voices start here — learning to hold a room with a story. From "the day I lost my shoe" to original fables, every child discovers that their story matters.
"We homeschool, and I was worried about the debate format feeling too intimidating. It was the opposite — he was rehearsing his arguments at dinner the same night."
Impromptu Speaking
A topic pulled from a fishbowl. Thirty seconds to think. Two minutes to speak. This is where quick thinkers become confident leaders — the skill that pays off in every classroom and boardroom.
"The gifted program coordinator at our school specifically recommended Podium. Within a month, Priya was leading discussions in her enrichment class."
The arc every student travels
From the child who whispered answers to the one who volunteers to go first. We've watched this happen 340 times. Here's what it looks like.
Answers in one word. Looks at shoes during introductions.
Makes a full argument. Surprised by their own voice.
Disagrees — politely, with evidence. Classmates listen.
Stands at the podium. Smiles at the judge. Means every word.

"The first time she asked to go first." — Tournament Saturday
"He now asks to practice his speech after dinner. We didn't teach him that."
Trusted by parents who've watched the change
These aren't reviews. They're the emails we screenshot and keep.

"Podium gave my son a framework for thinking, not just speaking. He's 9 and he now structures arguments better than half the adults I know."

"Our homeschool co-op has sent six kids here over two years. Every single one came back different — not louder, just more themselves."

"Zara used to cry before school presentations. She just won second place at the regional tournament. I still can't believe it's the same kid."

"I was skeptical — my kid is gifted but not social. Podium is the rare program that challenges him intellectually AND builds his people skills."
"The coaches remember every child's name, their nervous habit, their best argument. It's not a class — it's a community."

"On tournament Saturday, the hallway is electric. Kids in too-big blazers, parents crying happy tears. It's the best morning of our whole year."
